How Nova Education handles the small amount of information we collect when you visit our site, subscribe to The Dispatch, or write to us for support. We keep it minimal on purpose.

01 · Who we areWho we are

Nova Education, LLC ("Nova Education," "we," "us") is a subsidiary of Nova Digital and the publisher of the Straight Talk Press imprint. This policy describes what happens to your information when you visit novaeducation.io, sign up for our newsletter, purchase a title, or contact us at support@novaeducation.io.

By using this site, you agree to the terms described here. If you don't agree, please stop using the site.

02 · What we collectWhat we collect

We collect three kinds of information, and we try to collect as little of each as we reasonably can.

Information you give us directly

  • Your email address when you subscribe to The Dispatch.
  • Your name, email, and message contents when you write to our support inbox.
  • Billing and shipping details when you purchase a title — handled by our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic request data: IP address, browser, operating system, referring page, and pages viewed.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see section 04).

Information from third parties

If you purchase one of our titles through a retailer like Amazon, Apple Books, or a brick-and-mortar bookseller, we receive aggregated sales reporting from that retailer. We do not receive your personal information from those purchases unless you provide it to us directly.

03 · How we use itHow we use it

We use the information we collect to:

  • Send The Dispatch to people who subscribed to it.
  • Respond to support requests, rights inquiries, and press contacts.
  • Fulfill orders for digital and physical titles.
  • Understand which pages are visited and which books readers are interested in, so we can improve the site and choose what to publish next.
  • Protect the site from abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with data brokers.

04 · Cookies & analyticsCookies & analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Essential cookies — required for the site to function (for example, remembering that you've dismissed a banner).
  • Analytics cookies — to measure aggregate site usage. We use a privacy-respecting analytics provider that does not build cross-site profiles.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site.

05 · Third-party servicesThird-party services

We rely on a small number of vendors to operate the site. Each one is bound by a data-processing agreement and only sees the data it needs.

  • Hosting & CDN — to deliver this website.
  • Email service provider — to send The Dispatch and transactional emails.
  • Payment processor — to process purchases (we never store card numbers).
  • Analytics — to measure aggregate usage.
  • Customer support — to handle and reply to support messages.

We will not transfer your information to anyone else without a lawful basis — typically your consent or to comply with a legal request.

06 · Your rightsYour rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • The right to access the information we hold about you.
  • The right to correct inaccurate information.
  • The right to delete your information.
  • The right to object to certain processing, or to ask us to restrict it.
  • The right to receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
  • The right to withdraw consent — for example, by unsubscribing from The Dispatch.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@novaeducation.io. We will respond within 30 days.

07 · ChildrenChildren

Nova Education is a publisher for adults and older teens. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in some jurisdictions). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please write to us and we will delete it.

Several of our titles are written for an audience that may include older teens. Where a book is intended for a younger reader (for example, our confidence title for quiet teens), we recommend reading it alongside a parent or trusted adult.

08 · SecuritySecurity

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information — including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of our vendors. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you promptly and explain what happened.

09 · ChangesChanges to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page and, where appropriate, notify Dispatch subscribers by email. Minor edits (typos, clarifications) will be made silently.
