01 · AcceptanceAcceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Nova Education, LLC ("Nova Education," "we," "us"). By visiting novaeducation.io, subscribing to The Dispatch, purchasing or reading one of our titles, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you don't agree to these Terms, please don't use the site.

02 · Who can use itWho can use the service

You must be at least 13 years old to use this site, and at least 18 years old to purchase a title or enter into a binding contract with us. Several of our titles are intended for adult readers; the front matter of each book specifies its intended audience.

03 · Your accountYour account

You may not need an account to read our books, but if you create one — for example, to manage a subscription — you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

04 · Purchases & refundsPurchases & refunds

Some titles are sold directly through novaeducation.io; others through retailers such as Amazon, Apple Books, and physical bookstores. For purchases made through a retailer, that retailer's refund and return policy applies.

For purchases made directly from us:

  • Digital titles — because digital titles are delivered immediately and cannot be returned, refunds are issued at our discretion within 14 days of purchase. Email support@novaeducation.io with your order number.
  • Physical titles — unopened physical titles may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, less return shipping. Damaged or defective copies will be replaced at no cost.

Taxes and shipping fees are added at checkout where applicable.

05 · Intellectual propertyIntellectual property

All content on this site and in our titles — text, design, layout, illustrations, photography, audio, and the trademarks “Nova Education” and “Straight Talk Press” — is owned by Nova Education or licensed to it. It is protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may:

  • Read, listen to, and quote brief passages from our titles for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • Share excerpts of up to 250 words for review, commentary, or criticism, with attribution.

You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or transmit substantial portions of our titles without prior written permission.
  • Use our content to train machine-learning models without an explicit license.
  • Use our trademarks or imprint name in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation we haven't granted.

For rights, permissions, and licensing inquiries, write to support@novaeducation.io.

06 · Acceptable useAcceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of these Terms.
  • Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy the site or our content.
  • Probe, scan, or attempt to test the vulnerability of any system or network.
  • Interfere with other readers' use of the site.
  • Misrepresent your identity, including in messages to our support inbox.

07 · Not professional adviceOur books are not professional advice

This one matters. Our titles cover topics that include mental health, recovery, parenting, faith, and physical well-being. None of our books are a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, or pastoral advice. They are not therapy. They are not a diagnosis. They are not a treatment plan.

If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis line — for example, 988 in the United States, Samaritans in the UK, or Lifeline in Australia.

08 · DisclaimersDisclaimers

The site and our titles are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

09 · Limitation of liabilityLimitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nova Education and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the site or our titles. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars.

10 · TerminationTermination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the site at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will survive.

11 · Governing lawGoverning law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

12 · ChangesChanges to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify Dispatch subscribers by email. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
